HPV -vaccination (boys)

This is a private (paid-for) service provided by our clinic and delivered by our Pharmacist. The price you will be quoted is for the consultation with your Pharmacist and a single dose of HPV vaccine. This service is provided by our clinic.

What the HPV vaccine is for

The HPV vaccine reduces your chances of getting human papillomavirus (HPV), a common virus that's spread through skin contact (usually when having sex).

Most types of HPV are harmless. But some types are linked to an increased risk of certain types of cancer, including:

  • cervical cancer

  • mouth cancer

  • anal cancer

  • penile cancer

  • vulval cancer

  • vaginal cancer

The HPV vaccine works very well in reducing your risk of getting HPV.

Since the vaccine has been used, there has been a big drop in the number of young people getting conditions linked to HPV, such as penile cancer and genital warts.

This is a private service, if you are interested please book an allocated date or call in for an appointment. The pharmacist will consult you on side effects and provide a vaccine schedule if indicated.
