Malaria prevention treatment
Be protected on holiday. Following a consultation with our Pharmacist we can provide you with the correct Anti Malaria medication and advice dependent on your destination. This service is for adults and children. The cost of your medication will be dependent on where you are travelling to and length of stay.
We provide protection against malaria for your travels at our pharmacy. We are able to provide antimalarial medications such as atovaquone-proguanil (Maloff), chloroquine and doxycycline. Price will depend on drug choice and duration of stay. Please note we do not offer Lariam (Mefloquine). Maloff can be purchased over the counter for adults without a prescription. For doxycycline or chloroquine you will need to book an appointment with our pharmacist. For anyone travelling below the age of 18 years old, they will need an appointment for antimalarias as Maloff is not licensed OTC for children.
