Pharmacy First Services
Pharmacy First is an NHS service that covers a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists. These include for eligible patients advice and treatment for: Urinary Tract Infection, Acute Sore Throat, Acute Otitis Media (Ear Infection), Shingles, Infected Insect Bites and Acute Sinusitis.

Pharmacy First is an NHS service that encourages patients to visit their local pharmacy first instead of going to their GP for a range of conditions which can be assessed and treated by pharmacists. The conditions that are covered and the eligible patients that can access free advice and treatment for includes (but is not limited to): Urinary Tract Infection - for women age 16 to under 65 years), Acute Sore Throat - for adults and children aged 5 and over, Acute Otitis Media (Ear Infection) - for children aged 1 to 17 years, Shingles - for adults 18 years and over, Impetigo - for adults and children aged 1 year and over, Infected Insect Bites - for adults and children aged 1 year and over and Acute Sinusitis - for adults and children aged 12 years and over.
